Gandia Blasco, a company formed as far back as 1941 in Ontinyent (Valencia) in Spain. The company produced blankets for over 40 years with great success. In the early 1990's the company began to dversify into other products, producing rugs & bedlinen. With the assistance of designers, Marisa Gallen & Sandra Figuerola the strong identity & distinctive products that have won international acclaim began to emerge. In 1996 the company introduced its first outdoor collection, the classic 'Na Xemena' collection. since then, the outdoor collections have become the main focus of the company's activites. The design signature of the brand is underscored by the input of internationally renowed designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Ramon Esteve, Francesc Rife & Odosdesign. Gandia Blasco products are currently sold in 75 countries worldwide with dedicated showrooms in New York, Milan, Madrid & other major cities.
